Stop Writing Educational Content

I used to be one of those creators that thought giving more value meant more success.

I learned that “value” doesn’t mean information overload.

It means connection. Emotion. Action.

If you’re only teaching, you’re making a critical mistake.

Information without persuasion gets ignored.

Think about it.

The best brands don’t just teach.

They sell a vision.

Nike doesn’t give running tips.

They sell motivation.

Apple doesn’t explain features.

They sell innovation.

Meanwhile, you’re writing “5 tips to improve conversion rates.”

See the problem?

Your audience doesn’t need more knowledge.

They need a reason to care.

1. Be contrarion with your insights:

No one shares the same advice they see everywhere.

If you do, your content gets ignored.

Instead of “How to grow on X,” say: “Why most growth tactics fail.”

Flip the script.

Challenge what everyone else is doing.

Example: Instead of “Cold DMs work,” say: “Cold DMs are dead. Do this instead.”

Disruptive opinions drive engagement.

Make them think.

Make them question.

Then, educate.

2. "Show" in you content:

Most people tell their audience what to do.

But the best content shows them.

Instead of “Write better hooks,” break one down live.

Instead of “This landing page converts,” analyze why.

Walk them through a process step by step.

Give examples.

Break down real-world applications.

Clarity wins.

The more they see it, the more they trust you.

3. Make It Shareable:

The conetent that gets shared the most is written for the reader's ego.

Think about it...

People share content for two reasons:

  1. It makes them look smart.
  2. It reinforces their identity.

You should be creating posts that do both.

Example: “90% of marketers still don’t get this…”

Now, when they share it, they feel ahead of the curve.

Think about why people want to share before you write.

4. Turn Lessons into Frameworks:

People forget random tips.

They remember frameworks.

Would you rather hear “5 copywriting tips” or:

  • The ‘C.A.S.H.’ Framework for Magnetic Copy?
  • The ‘S.O.S.’ Method to Fix Dead Engagement?

Names make ideas stick.

Turn your strategies into memorable frameworks.

People will remember you whenever they use them.

5. Add Personality:

No one follows a robot.

They follow people.

Most educational content sounds like a Wikipedia page.

Mix in some humor.

Add sarcasm.

Use pop culture references.

Example: Instead of “Avoid long intros,” say:

“Your intro is so long, even your mom scrolled past it.”

Make them laugh.

Make them feel you behind the words.

Boring content dies in the feed.

You don’t need more educational content.

You need content that makes people feel, act, and buy.

That’s the difference between noise and influence.

So, if you’re tired of creating content that gets ignored...

And you want a framework that turns your audience into customers...

Reply to this email with the word "CONTENT" & let’s talk.

Writing content that sells?

It’s a skill.

And I’ll show you how to do it.

Til next time,

Ken
