Creating Content vs Creating Demand (the tiny difference)

How is it possible that a creator can post daily and get crickets?

Meanwhile, others post twice a week and generate $20k+ in DMs?

Same platform.

Same audience size.

Different strategy.

Because one is posting content.

The other is creating demand.

I see it too often.

Lots of posting but no conversions.

Sure, notifications going off feels good.

Great dopamine.

You know what's better?

Attracting people with problems you can solve.

How do we do this?

Simple...

You need to post better.

Remember the game isn’t about going viral.

It’s about being remembered.

And remembered for something that matters.

This is how you create demand with content:

Sell the Vision Early

Most people write value like it’s homework.

It's useful but not memorable...

You need to sell the future in your first few lines.

Make them see what’s possible before you teach.

Tell a story. Create a “before & after.”

Paint a picture of life on the other side.

This builds desire.

And desire turns posts into profit.

Repeat the Problem

You don’t create demand by being smart.

You create it by being relevant.

And relevance means saying the right problem.

Again. And again. And again.

The more you describe it, the more it hurts.

The more it hurts, the more they want relief.

People will forget tips...

Problems stick.

So anchor your content in pain.

Then repeat.

Create Content That Filters

Your content should attract and repel.

Not everyone is your buyer.

So don’t write for everyone.

Share your POV.

State your price.

Show your standards.

Use your content as a filter to drive the right people to your product.

Think About the Buyer’s Journey

Not all posts do the samething.

  • Some are for attention.
  • Some are for education.
  • Some are for conversion.

Most creators blend them into noise.

The smart ones map them to a journey.

They know which post leads to what step.

Use your posts to create a funnel.

Then make sure the next step for your audience to take is clear.

Use Content as Conversation Starters

Posting is the first step.

The second? Getting them to talk.

Ask questions.

Start polls.

Share opinions.

Then check who engages.

And start real conversations.

The best clients don’t just comment.

Use content to introduce yourself.

The Bottomline:

Anyone can create content.

Not everyone can create demand.

Use these strategies to let your audience know you are go-to person.

Start relationships.

Build trust.

Solve their problems.

Til next week,

Ken
